Story 01

Casa dos PenedosSintra, Portugal

Cassidy+Brett

A pink palace in the hills

Ivy on the walls, roses by the altar and a dance floor nobody wanted to leave.

Cassidy and Brett embracing with Sintra Palace behind them
Back

Sintra, in the morning.

View over Sintra and the National Palace
A watercolour of the house in a sketchbook
A card of advice and wishes
The bride laughing as her hair is done
The dress being fastened
The first look on the terrace

Then, the vows.

The ceremony in the ivy-covered courtyard
The groom laughing during the ceremony
The bride smiling among roses
A child looking into the camera
The kiss, in black and white
Leaving the ceremony to cheering guests

And the night ran long.

The dinner room under the pergola
The couple on the balcony at the end of the day
Cutting the cake by the fireplace
Drums and dancing on the dance floor
Guests dancing
Sintra at night, seen from a window
