Hi, my name is Carlos Pimentel :)
I have been a photographer for more than two decades. More than a profession, photography is — and always has been — my way of being in the world. It is through the camera that I observe, understand and tell stories. And every story is unique.
Over the years I specialised in wedding photography, a field where I found the perfect balance between emotion, art and truth. A wedding is one of the most intense and symbolic moments in a person’s life.
But my experience goes far beyond weddings. I have a solid background in photojournalism, where I learned to anticipate the moment, look for the unexpected and capture reality with respect and sensitivity. That foundation gave me valuable tools: an attentive eye, quick reflexes and the ability to tell a visual story with depth.
My work stands out for its creativity. I like to go beyond the obvious, to look for different framings, to explore light in original ways and to create images that convey feeling — yes — but also identity. I believe every couple has their own energy, and my aim is to translate it into images that are genuine, natural and full of soul.
More than photographing you, I want you to feel seen. I want you to look at your photographs years from now and feel everything you lived that day all over again.
